The Kingston police posted about the girl’s cause on Facebook after the chief stopped at her stand.

A 10-year-old girl from Kingston who was raising money with a refreshing, cold summer beverage met her fundraising goal through the generosity of strangers.

On July 2, this unnamed girl was spotted on Grove Street with a hallmark of American childhood — a lemonade stand. Using the sweet summer drink, she was hoping to raise money to see Zach Bryan, a rising country music star who will be playing at Gillette Stadium on July 17.

Thanks to a generous patron of her pop-up stand who donated two concert tickets to the young entrepreneur, the goal of her stand went from getting tickets to possibly buying herself something at the merch stand.

The Kingston police posted about the girl’s cause on Facebook after the chief stopped at her stand, donated some money to her goal and reported back to the other officers at the station about the girl’s objective, according to Masslive.

“The power of social media pays off again! All the negativity in the world, in this job and on social media…. It’s things like this that show how great our community is and the POSITIVE impact social media, and one very generous person, can have on our community!” read the post.

A video of one officer giving the girl the tickets was attached to the post,
