Former Louisville kicker John Wallace died on Wednesday, the school announced. He was 31. The university didn’t divulge a cause of death. Wallace played for the Cardinals from 2012-15 and kicked a school-record 66 career field goals. He booted two field goals to help Louisville beat Florida 33-23 in the 2013 Sugar Bowl. Wallace’s most accurate season came as a sophomore in 2013 when he booted 20 of 24 field-goal attempts (83.3 percent). He also scored a career-best 112 points that season.
