In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Kogi Korean BBQ’s executive chef and co-founder Roy Choi said the taco truck grossed about $2 million in its first year.
Choi, a Villa Park High School graduate who earns about $90,000 a year, also said that most Kogi lovers spend about $13 per visit. Not bad for a fast food truck on wheels.
Kogi operates three trucks in Southern California, including one in Orange County. (Follow Kogi in OC)
